Deputy Minister of Economic development Muthu Sivalingam announced parliamentarian of the Srilanka working congress schedule to visit Vanni district. This group would be lead by the party general secretary and the Minister of Livestock and Rural community development Arumugam Thondaman.
During the visit this group will pay special attention towards the problems faced by the upcountry people residing in the Vanni district during the time of conflict in past 30 years.
Deputy Minister further said office of the SriLanka workers congress is operating in the Vanni district for past 40- years and also added this office will take necessary steps to solve the problems of upcountry people residing in the Vanni district.
