Husband and wife in the Nerweli area in Jaffna district was murdered due to a family issue. Son of the victims was also severely and rushed to the Jaffna base hospital.
Victim was identifies as Markandu Uthayakumar(55) and Udayakumar Wasanthamalar(45) resident of Nerweli area.
It was brother of Mrs Udayakumar arrested on suspicion.
Postmortem of these bodies were carried out at the Jaffna hospital.
Kopai police carrying out further investigation this regard.
