| Police spokesman Ajith Rohana announced that a family man had abducted in the Jampata street in Kothena area Colombo13. |
| According to the family members group of unidentified persons arrived in the white van with weapons around 2.30pm in the evening had abducted victim. However victim is identified as 50 year old Christoper Fernando. People of this area have burnt tires and stage protest against this abduction.  |
