Unemployed graduates stage protest in Jaffna

Jaffna district Graduates Union organized a protest in front of the governor’s office this morning.

During the time of protest protesters urge the relevant authorities to provide suitable permanent jobs for unemployed graduates. Thousands of protesters gathered in front of the Jaffna parumal kovil last morning stress the government to grant job opportunities for unemployed graduates and also said they were ignored by the Provincial and government officials. End of the protest protesters handed over a proposal which contains 5 demands of the unemployed graduates towards the Ilankowan Secretary of the Governor. Replying to the proposal Ilankowan said has a government servant he cannot make promises on providing jobs. However I can work has a coordinator between you and governor said the secretary.
