Sri Lanka Muslim Congress decided to participate in the Parliamentary Select Committee


The Sri Lanka Muslim Congress has decided to participate in the Parliamentary Select Committee which will be established to find a political solution for the North- East conflict.
The Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress Minister Rauf Hakeem stated that his name too has been added to the list of parliamentarians which was been named by the government for this Parliamentary Select Committee.
Speaking to our News Team, the Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress stated that he expects to present matters with regard to the Northern and Eastern Muslim community at this Parliamentary Select Committee.
Rauf Hakeem invited the Tamil National Alliance to represent the parliamentary select committee which appointed to bring solution for the ethnic issue of SriLanka.
However Oppossition political parties such as JVP,,UNP and TNA rejected the appointing parliamentary select committee.
