UNP did not appoint members for parliamentary select committee : Amarathunga

United National Party announced that they won’t appoint members for parliamentary select committee.

UNP also decided that they won’t appoint members for parliamentary select committee since the government to end talks with the representatives of Tamil National Alliance of ethnic issue. Party also stresses the government to hold discussions with TNA. Recently government announced the political parties to name the respective members for parliamentary select committee. Senior member of the United National Party John Amarathunga announced that they won’t hand over the names of their representatives to government since the government to hold proper discussions with Tamil National Alliance.
